I have had anything & everything done by Dr. Scmid - root canals, fillings, x-rays, regular cleanings - and have always had a pleasant experience. Truly a great dentist and a professional office staff.

I have been going to Dr. Schmid since 1985 when I moved to California. He has done all of my dental work. I find that he staff is excellent and the dental work has always been great.
I strongly recommend his services.

I have been seeing Dr. Schmid for several years and have had nothing but positive experiences with him and his staff. Over the years, I have had cleanings, a root canal, partial crowns and full crowns performed. Insurance questions are always addressed quickly and the best option is always sought by the staff. Chair-side manner great and every effort is made to make it pain-free and stress-free. Great folks throughout the office, I highly recommend this facility.

We moved to Cypress about 8 years ago and my wife and I both are willing to drive 45 minutes back to his offices for our dental work. Excellent services in all parts of the operation. English as a first and common language makes communication on important issues easy and stress free.
About Hygienist: Excellent. I have actually improved following her advice.

Great staff-very friendly and personable. I had 2 front crowns done this year. It was a very easy experience with no pain involved. Dr. Schmid was very thorough about getting them to fit correctly.
About Hygienist: Joy is an excellent hygienist. She is friendly, very gentle, and efficient. My teeth feel great after visiting her.

Great dentist, very capable and also nice office//his staff has been with him for all the time I have been going there//that says a lot ...people working for him seem very happy. I had my teeth cleaned today which I do 3 times a year otherwise I have had fillings and one extraction done over the years. His costs are average, the billing is done in a very efficient manner and they are very good at getting in touch with your insurance when needed . I have recommended him to some fellow workers and would still do.

Dr. Schmid has been my dentist since we moved back to California years ago. I'm a very critical grader; if I'm not satisfied, I'll switch doctors, dentists, hospitals, banks, brokers,etc. -- and I have, even if the person is a personal friend. But my dentist has been Dr. Schmid the whole time.
When he identifies a major issue, Dr. Schmid always asks me about what's important to me (e.g., cost, pain, appearance). When I tell him, he accepts my decision. However, he always tells me about the alternatives so I don't make a bad decision due to ignorance.
I hate pain. So he makes sure that I have minimum pain through technique and medication. My wife has lots of medical problems, so he ensures that any procedure he performs, or medication he specifies, will not compromise her health.
His staff is completely approachable, and I have had their help on difficult scheduling problems with our adopted children. [All our kids are patents too.]
Through time, Dr Schmid has been able to undo many of the unfortunate decisions by dentists in my past. We are now on track to make further progress on the problems that are appearing.
In the past, I've had reservations about dentists I've had. No more.

About Hygienist: Geeta, Joy, and Rene are all top-notch. Their concern for our issues are always obvious, and (especially Joy) politely chastises us when we are not not doing enough brushing and flossing. They are great people who are obviously interested in our dental health. Now it they can just get my wife to floss more!

Prior to becoming a patient of Dr. Schmid's, I always suffered from an extreme amount of anxiety about visiting the dentist.
However, that is no longer the case. I highly recommend Dr. Schmid's dental office. He is professional, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable.
He answers all my questions and explains all procedures to me. Dr. Schmid has replaced crowns and performed a root canal. I could not be more satisfied with the results and services received.
In addition, the rest of the staff (Renee and Gitta) are absolutely wonderful too! Very kind, friendly and welcoming.
In all honesty, I now truly enjoy visiting the dentist!

Dr. Schmid has been my dentist for over 25 years. He is a good as can be found, in my opinion. Great chair side manner, forthright, honest and will only recommend treatments that are needed. I have had 100% success with my dental treatments over the years. My treatments have been pain free and comfortable. His staff is very competent, friendly and most helpful in all my insurance claims. The office is pleasant and fun, while projecting a professional image. I have had several other dentists prior to Dr.Schmid, and I find he and his entire staff surpass the others in overall professional skills and demeanor.
