I always feel I've received the best dental care. Highly recommend Dr. Gloor! Excellent attention to children and sensitive patients! Years ago Dr. Gloor was recommended by a poll in Diablo Magazine and that is how I first discovered her.

I moved to Walnut Creek in August and needed to find a dentist. I randomly picked one that had decent reviews but the day before my appointment I met Dr Gloor at a business meeting. She was very positive and cheery so I decided to try her out instead and what a great decision that turned out to be!
To say I am thrilled with Dr Gloor and her staff is an understatement of epic proportions. It is quite obvious that she cares about her patients and loves what she does. My visit was quite enjoyable and her entire staff was a pleasure to deal with. At this point my entire family has seen her and my wife who has never liked a dentist loves Dr Gloor.
No matter how nice someone is they also need to be competent. Any dentist can do cleaning and xrays but when they actually do work on your teeth you want the best. My wife had some cosmetic dentistry done to fill some gaps in her teeth. The process is quite delicate and easy to screw up. Dr Gloor's work was flawless and my wife's teeth look great. (This may have a lot to do with why she loves her)
Lastly, she has a sweet little dog in the office with only three legs. It makes perfect sense to me that Dr Gloor would have rescued him.

I see Dr. Vanessa Gloor quarterly, and she is the very best at making sure my teeth are in the best of shape. Her dental skills are stellar and her own personal manner is also wonderful. She has examined and cleaned my teeth, replaced fillings, equipped me with a permanent bridge and several other things. Her pricing is fair and moderate.

I went to Dr. Gloor because I went with Mother who is terrified of dentists to have a tooth pulled. She was so please and Dr. Gloor was so nice, I decided to go myself. She personally cleaned my teath - which was the first time ever it didn't hurt and I didn't "clench" up. The exam was very thorough and I am a very satisfied client - I will go back!
About Hygienist: Dr. Gloor's Hygienist did my exrays an polishing and was nice. friendly and very gentle!

Dr. Gloor is truly a pain-free dentist! Not only pain-free, but VERY customer service orientated. I broke a tooth in the morning and made the call to be seen. Within an hour I was contacted for an appointment that same day at a convenient time. The staff is wonderful.
The best of the best is that Dr. Gloor has a sweet little Dachshund that oversees the office, and he (Skippy) greeted me with tail wagging, a big smile, and lots of lovies!! Skippy agreed to lay on my lap and calm my jitters while Dr. Gloor performed her magic in repairing my broken tooth! My trip to the dentist was a treat!! Thank you Dr. Gloor, staff, and Skippy!

My wife and I relocated from Brazil to USA in August 2006 then we needed to find a dentist here in the Bay Area. I do not recall how we found her but all I know is that we never left, even after moving to Sunnyvale.
Dr. Gloor is what each dentist or doctor in general should be, she does a really nice job, very charismatic and always ready to help.
We highly recommend her, all of her staff is also awesome to deal with.

I have been going to Dr. Gloor for the past ten years. My whole family is currently under her care. I must say that going to the dentist can be quite scary, but with Vanessa Gloor, it has ALWAYS been a pleasant experience. She is continouously updating her technology and tecniques and creates a relaxed atmosphere in her office. Once, when applying a porcelin crown, the crown came back from the lab the slightest shade from what she had ordered. She immediately sent it back and recommended for me to wait for the proper color, even though it was a molar that wasn't readily apparent. Dr. Gloor is meticulously and friendly. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat!

Dr. Gloor is the best dentist I've ever had! I love going there, she is so gentle and her work is fantastic. I will not change dentists even though I've moved to San Francisco, she is worth the drive!

Aside from Dr. Gloor, her front desk receptionist is rude and moody. Next to impossible to get your x-rays back if you decide to move on. Not a bad dentist otherwise. Be prepared for drama with her receptionist staff.
