I went to Dr. De Simone based on a flyer for Arbor Dental Group I received in the mail. They were all very friendly and everything seemed reasonable at the time. After the initial visit and cleaning, he told me I had a lot of work to do and wanted me to spend close $3000 on two root canals (not including the crowns). I declined and opted to get two cavities filled ON TWO COMPLETLY DIFFERENT TEETH (these teeth were diagnosed by Dr. Simone as needing fillings only).
The fillings were completed and I was sent on my way with no worries. Less than two months later my teeth and jaw began to hurt. I went in and told them I was in pain. They claimed my teeth were grinding, they shaped the cavities to "help with my bite". But the pain continued, I went in again and he claimed I need to get two root canals. This is less than 4 months after I received these new fillings.
I decided to get a second opinion, turns out the two fillings I had were not done properly, I had a major infection and I ended up getting three root canals. I was on a heavy dosage of antibiotics for over a month and spent a ridiculous amount of money because of him. You want my opinion - STAY CLEAR OF DR. DESIMONE!!
