This doctor did the root canal on one of my tooth about 5 years ago. I had pain, sensitivity to cold and warm and pressure weeks after the procedure. I got an appointment from him and complained about pain and discomfort. He said the pain has nothing to do with this tooth and my other teeth have problem. The pain remained for almost 3 months and then gradually subdued. A few weeks ago I started to have pain in the same tooth. My dentist refered me to endodontist and he told me the root canal I did before (by Jay Monsef) was not complete and he broke a file inside the nerve and now it got infected. I did the root canal again and took two series of strong antibiotics, but still have pain and discomfort. Soooo, don't trust Jay Monsef, and go to another specialist!

I needed a root canal on my front tooth. Dr. Monsef wanted to remove the crown, do the treatment, and have me go without a front tooth the whole weekend. I left the clinic and never came back. I would not recommend this clinic to anybody.
