Dr. Sunil is recommended by my general dentist whose opinion I respect very much. Thus, I trust his professional judgment and skills. When treating my case, he made prompt diagnosis, took immediate action, and reasonably diligent follow-up. I didn't give him the highest rating because I feel the #1 element in treating endodontics emergencies - patient Re-assurance - is missing. I was in lots of pain and stress with the situation and without an explanation of what is happening and what to expect. Thank God, my general dentist texted me from his personal cell phone throughout this tough period and stood behind me for psychological support. I would have given up on the treatment otherwise. Not that getting problem resolved is not important, but I think his patients would really benefit from him spending more time communicating about the findings, diagnosis, treatment options, plans, post-op expectations, etc.

Horrible bed side manners, very Rude!
Most shocking, he told me : "You are a difficult patient and I don't want to treat you!"
Went to a new endodontist and a surgeon, they were shocked by the bad job done by dr.Srinivasan, and the amount of infection I had for the last two years and had to constantly be on antibiotics, could have killed me!

Srinivasan broke his file while performing root canal on my tooth. He did not make any attempt to remove it. Nor did he advise me of seeking another specialist to remove the broken file. Instead he led me to think that the tooth was doomed: He told me the tooth was cracked which later turned out to be a lie.
Six months later I experienced severe pain and inflammation. I called Srinivasan on a Sunday morning . He sounded apprehensive and said (& it was six months ago ). Antibiotics brought the inflammation down.
Two years of intermittent pain and swelling of the tooth followed.
Finally, I asked another endodontist to decide the next step, possibly extraction. He chose one of the two possible standard methods to remove the broken file and succeeded in less than 45 minutes, including repairing the tooth! He said there was no cracking, but while removing the filling done by Srinivasan, he found 7 or 8 little drilled hole patterns inside the tooth (resulting from Srinivasan attempts to find the root canal), one of those holes perforated the side of the tooth well below the gum line.
The tooth is now alive and well.

Referred to Dr Srinivasan by two other dentists I respected, and they said he was the best. Had a root canal, and they were right, he was the best for this procedure. I had complications due to a nerve, and he gave me a complimentary follow-up. I was very happy with his work.

Dr. Srinivasan is a very kind and compassionate man. When I first learned that I would need a root canal, I was very nervous. I met with Dr. Srinivasan and he and his staff immediately allayed my fears. He proceeded very gently with me, giving me a thorough explanation of what I was to expect. I was quite comfortable being there. The procedure went very smoothly, and I hardly felt anything! I especially appreciate his ethics and wanting to do only what is in my best interests. If I were to ever need another root canal, I wouldn't hesitate going back to him. I even sent my wife to him and her experience with Dr. Srinivasan was the same. Thank you Dr. Sunil!

I usually do not pay deductible thanks to being long-term patient with my previous dentist. However, I am well pleased to pay for Dr. Srinivasan's service. He surprised me with his skills, courtesy, and thoroughness. Super service!
