Dr. Short has always been great. He does not recommend needless treatment, is very personable, does good work, and has a great office staff.

I've had 3 check ups here. I have gum recession and he does not take measurements and record them. On my last visit I complained of some inflammation and tenderness. He just said I had some gum recession. Now I have a fistula in that area. I'm going to a different dentist to have this checked out.
Also, I asked him a simple question about toothpaste and he had no idea. I had to go to Google to get information abou it.

I have been to about 10 different dentists in my lifetime. Dr Short ranks as one of the best. I have seen one review that says that he is not professional. They are right; he is friendly and candid. He tells you the truth, not some professional double talk that will make sure that he does not offend anybody. I do not need politically correct answers; I need straight talk with honest answers. That is what you get from Howy. The atmosphere in his office is very relaxed and fun (for a dentist’s office). It is like your best friend from school went to dental school, and now he is working on your teeth. You know you can trust him. I have six crowns in my mouth done by several dentists; some good, some not so good. The crowns that Howy did are by far the best. They not only look good, but most importantly, they do not hurt, and they work properly. I had two high-priced dentists in LA that did such a bad job (painful and did not work properly) that I finally came back to Colorado to get them fixed by Howy. If you want a dentist that minimizes the physical pain, does excellent work, and is friendly, then Dr Short is the right guy.

Best dentist ever.. Never any pain... Great laughs and kind front staff. Always a great time when I go they are friendly and very helpful and willingly to work with me and my insurance they always run on time

Dr. Short is an honest dentist regarding what needs to be done. He is always on time and makes sure I am comfortable for any procedure to be done. He handles is own cleanings. His office staff takes care of the insurance and assists him in procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Short as a dentist.
