Absolutely the best!! Wish he was not retiring. My son has been using him since he was born (9 yrs) and now we have to switch. Hard to see him go. If he comes back from retirement, get on his patient list!!
About Hygienist: Helga is awesome too! She is still there. Dr. Lovato is the new dentist working there and he seems pretty good too.

I own a dental benefits company and can go to any of hundreds of dentists. I go to Dr. Spicciati. Friendly, warm, honest, incredibly skilled as a Dentist, Dr. Spicciati is one of the best - not just in Colorado Springs, but the entire region.

I highly recommend Dr Spicciati. He and his wife (who works as his receptionist) are both very friendly, experienced and kind. Dr Spicciati once found a cavity underneath a filling that had been bothering me for years, and had been missed by other dentists. He's done great work both on me and my husband.

It took me 3 tries to find a good dentist in Colorado Springs. I won't name the other two, but all those other two dentists wanted to do is point out all the problems in my mouth right away. It was extremely obvious that all they wanted to do is see how much $$$ they could extract from me in the way of cosmetic surgery. Both pretty much just wanted to put crowns on all my teeth (my teeth in my opinion are just fine, thank you). Dentists like this are quick and easy to spot. Just go and get a 'consultation' with any one of them and wait for them to tell you that they better start doing some major work on your teeth right away, or they'll all fall out. Anyway, dr Spicciati is a dentist that I found I could rely on. He just tells you as it is and does what is necessary to get your mouth healthy. He's not dying to put crowns on all your teeth or to grind them, straighten them, whiten them, do this to them, do that to them, etc. His main concern is to make sure you have a healthy mouth and I like that.
