Dr. Heiken does great work but I question his, and his offices billing--he was an active part of my billing questions. I was given a bill. HE said that my coverage w/ BCBS is" based on how much a Dr. maked in MI." They asked that I pay it, if I could. I did becuase I love them. Later to find out from a dentist officer manager friend, it is considered FRAUD becuase THEY are in AGREEMENT with my coverage and HAVE to CHARGE ME, WHAT IS COVERED per filling. NO matter what. Hugly broke at the time and had to find another. There are others as good as him out there that you can fully trust with billing. I was young, dumb and broke. IF I knew then, what I know now!!!!
About Front Desk: See coment above. Young, Broke and dumb, they charged me for "What an average dentist charges in CO vs. What my BCBS dental covered for what Dr. in MI charges for fillings." They asked me to pay it if I could. I did. Later my dental office manager friend tells me it's FRAUD because they are in an ARGEEMENT with BCBS and have to CHARGE ME what they will cover per filling. Guess the extra hundred so so I gave them went toward flat screens and 4 day weekends.

I've been a patient of Dr. Heiken for over ten years. The staff is so friendly that our family truly looks forward to visiting them! Most impressive is the focus on the state of the art in dental practice. I feel confident that Dr. Heiken and his staff are superbly trained, and they always have the newest equipment and procedures. And because I am interested, Dr. Heiken explains the science behind the equipment. His knowledge, and obvious pursuit of continuing education in dental medicine is a great comfort to me. I highly recommend their office to anyone in search of a highly competitent and personable dental team.

Dr. Heiken makes going to the dentist fun. He and his staff are so upbeat and friendly. They're also very professional and on top of things. I have had zero hassles with my insurance. I actually drive from Colorado Springs to see Dr. Heiken in Denver because he's worth the drive!
