He is the best! He always calls me after I've had something done that could cause problems or pain to make sure I'm doing okay. I've never had a problem or even any pain after a visit.

At first, seemed genuinely concerned about my oral health, and interested in helping overcome fears associated with unpleasant past experiences. Initial visit was motivated by a painfull cavity, which Dr. Whitely quickly resolved. Unfortunately, further visits were far less pleasant. As part of the treatment plan he developed, I underwent a root canal. As Dr. Whitely does not perform this procedure, he recommended a nearby specialist who was very professional. The specialist placed a temporary filling, advising me to return to Dr. Whitely within 2 weeks; when I called to schedule the appointment, his rude receptionst told me it would be "impossible" for him to see me until 4 weeks later. Not wanting to seek out another dentist to finish the job , I accepted the available appointment, chewing on one side of my mouth for a month. At the long-awaited second appointment, Dr. Whitely advised me my permanent crown would be ready within two weeks; as I stopped at the desk to schedule the follow-up visit, I was rudely informed that he would be too busy to see me for 6 weeks, and was interrogated in front of another client about my current balance, unpaid because of her failure to submit insurance claims for my first visit 3 months before.
About Hygienist: Hygienist (Dana) is very pleasant, sometimes a little rough. Headphones, which helped on first visit, only worked in one treatment room, which I wasn't lucky enough to be seen in after the first visit.

Movies and earphones if you want them. In addition to having their core competencies down, staff is also very friendly. Dr. Whitely knows his stuff, doesn't recommend unnecessary work, and doesn't rush waiting for the pain killer to take effect.
I don't know averages of what other area dentists charge. Whitley's price was $79 for prophylaxis, $43 for periodic oral evaluation.

Outstanding staff, expertise, and chair-side manner. Insurance billing was incredibly easy.

Dr. Whiteley is very pleasant and comforting. He is also a technician when it comes to detal owrk taking great care in assuring that all work is done to as close to perfection as possible. He is not comfortable with shabby work at all.

My whole family and I have seen Dr. Whitely for our primary dental care for probably 20 years. The office staff are kind, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Whitely is wonderful. He is always up-to-date, always excellent in care, always on-time, and couldn't be more gentle. He is kind, caring, and considerate. He does ask for payment at the time, but the staff files the paperwork for your refund. He has 2 great hygienists.
