DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!! I have had a fair amount of dental work done in the past and I understand there is pain and discomfort but this man is HORRIBLE!! I have never had a dentist cause so much horrific pain with a needle, and when I told him it didnt feel right he just kept going. He ended up giving me multiple shots, I counted 7. He is very rough with the needles and with the entire root canal procedure.. To top it all off, I am not able to open my jaw and have recurring headaches EVERY DAY, I am not able to have my permanent crown placed because my jaw will not open far enough. THIS MAN IS THE WORST DENTIST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.
I know this doctor: 1 month

The staff are very unprofessional. My insurance was charged for a tooth that the doctor had not even worked on. Overall it was a bad experience, and I would not recommend him.

On Jan 22nd 2005, due to a severe pain, I was referred to Dr. Namazikhah to do a root canal on a three roots tooth #14. Doctor Namazikhah was the first dentist who used the plastic dam during his procedure. I asked him what that was. Doctor asked me You never had it before?" I said No and Doctor said "All dentists should have used it". So from now on I would ask any dentist to use that plastic dam. I was totally relaxed during the procedure. Doctor had two assistants; they were very friendly and very professional.
During the procedure, Doctor and his assistants were using gloves, face mask and goggles. He took many X-Rays to make sure that the roots are clear of nerves. It was interesting that Doctor showed me the tooth nerve. Since I am technical myself, I noticed that the Doctor carefully drilled each root, cleaned it by using file. The Doctor's specialty is root canal and he is really one the best and he is expert in that. The facility is clean and beautiful with high tech interior design. I enjoyed the relaxing music and Doctor's sense of humor. I left the office with no pain. He called the following day to follow up. I then really thanked him. I had insurance and the insurance was billed accordingly fair.

I was referred to Dr. Namazikhah office through my dentist with severe pain. When I contacted the office and explain my situation, the appointment arranged for the same day. Prior to this, I contacted few other Endodontist in the area to have some idea in regards to the cost of the Root Canal, since I do not have any dental insurance.
My experience with Dr. Namazikhah was one of the best in the dental chair. I did not feel any pain with the shot and through the procedure. he was caring and explained every step he took but the most important part was his speed to perform the Root Canal. I found him very competent and reasonable and I recommend him strongly.

I had a root canal performed at this office and I do not recommend this office. Although Dr. Namazikhah seems very competent and capable in his profession, his patients are treated like cattle. Several patients are admitted at the same time while the doctor and assistants treat everyone in a parallel process (eg. a few minutes in each room), so most of the time you are left in your chair with contraptions in your mouth wondering if anyone will be back to see you. They rush into the room, perform a bits of the procedure, then rush out. There is very little in the way of explanation or questions, they are too busy being professional to tell you what they are doing. I watched the clock, and in one instance, was left for over 20 minutes with a seperator hanging in my mouth, 15 minutes on another occassion. My worst experience ever at a dental office.
