I had an awful experience with Dr. Skulski. He gave me a root canal a few years ago that failed, and got infected, I had to have my gums cut and jaw drilled. He seemed irritated when I asked if there was any chance of a discount on this procedure because they had given me the root canal that failed - I did not receive one.
His office contacted me because it was "so urgent," (my dentist sent x-rays to his office) but failed to put me on antibiotics until I called them complaining of severe pain. Also, they were completely callous to my concerns regarding the operation, telling me it was no big deal.
The procedure was hell, for two reasons I am difficult to numb - very difficult - and it was an extreme infection. Dr. Skulski seemed exasperated by my severre pain rather than sympathetic to it. He acted like I was simply being a wuss, rather than realizing that I was experiencing the worst pain in my life. He didn't seem to even acknowledge the validity of the pain I was in.
Not two days after the procedure one of my stitches that had been poorly set - inexplicably wrapped loosely around my tooth - came loose.
For these and other reasons I don't have space for, I would never recommend Dr. Skulski to anyone.

I am veteran of root canals (I have had several, and no, it's not a hygiene issue) so I have some background with these types of procedures. I thought I needed another one, but it turned out that a previous root canal had failed and there was infection up in the bone.
Dr. Skulski had to cut into the gum and drill out the infected bone. He did such a good job that I had no bruising and almost no swelling, and I also had very little pain afterwards. I did not need anything stronger than Advil after the numbness wore off, and the only reason I continued to take Advil the rest of the week was to make certain that the swelling styed down - I had no pain. Contrast that with the fact that I had needed to take percocet to control the pain previous to coming in.
That takes a lot of talent and a delicate touch to accomplish such a small amount of trauma. He also listened to what I said to him about what was going on with my tooth, and told me everything he was doing just before he did it, so I knew what was going on. I also thought his pricing was quite reasonable having paid more in the past for work of lesser quality than this.

I was scared to get a root canal as I have never had major dental work done. I called the office of Dr. Skulski and Faith was kind, compassionate, and extremely comforting.
The office was warm and Dr. Skulski listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable by addressing my concerns. The root canal itself was easy. I felt no pain and was able to return to work after the procedure.
If I ever need a root canal again, and hopefully I won't, I would return to Dr. Skulski.

I have had three root canals from Dr. Skulski over the last 10 years and they all have been painless and successful. He is an expert at his craft and well-worth the money. I would recommend him to anyone interested in the best care available in the Denver area.

The Dr. is good at what he does. The front desk staff is nice, but insincere. The cost was high, but hopefully worth it.
