Read Reviews for Dr. Dean Duncan
I had four wisdom teeth (two impacted) extracted under general anesthesia. I consider the treatment to be exemplary success. No dry sockets, no pain, no issues with any of the extracted teeth. I was initially worried when he recommended general anesthesia. He did not give me too much information (but then you can find more than enough on the web). Looking back GA was the perfect choice. Would definitely recommend Dr Duncan.

Dr D did a tooth extraction on me. I was very worried but his staff was terrific. He is personable, professional, and very skilled.
He did the procedure incredibly fast and efficiently, and pretty much with no pain at all. I would highly recommend him for any procedure. His front desk is fast and professional too!
I know this doctor: 2 months

Dr. Duncan is efficient and did my dental implant skillfully, in my opinion. It has been a few months, and I have had no pain at all, even during the procedure itself. It is clear that Dr. Duncan is very busy with many patients, but he was kind enough to call me the night he did the procedure to make sure that everything was all right.
Billing is extremely efficient--I received a check for overpayment the day after my last visit.
Front desk is not overly personable but they are efficient and accommodated my special circumstances (e.g., live far away, could come only in the afternoon).

I went today for my pre op consultation, so far so good
he is very clear and direct easy to talk to and seems to be very honest
I was told I would have to pay 600 out of pocket mostly because my insurance doesnt cover the anethesia.
(my procedure consists of extracting 4 wisdom teeth)
but i feel confident that it will be worth it.
will post another review post op :)

Dr. Duncan was taking ermergency calls for another dentist downtown over the holidays. He extracted a broken root that "the other guy" left in, and DIDN"T CHARGE ME because the other dentist had already billed my insurance.
It then turned out that his fee for an implant was almost ONE-THIRD LESS than the downtown guy. Gotta love THAT!
His office is very relaxing. He has a great fish tank, a comfy couch, and oh yeah, don't forget to ask for the IV Valium; it's superb!!
The only problem now is that the crown is really bad, doesn't fit right and needs to be re-done. MORAL: Shop around for the restorative dentist while you're waiting for the implant to take.

Dr. Duncan was superb with extracting my sons impacted bicuspid. Other dentists balked with even attempting this surgery. Payment plans and insurance issues were handled expeditiously.

Dr. Duncan is a humorous man! The front desk and staff were pleasant. I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted and they were very thorough with care instructions. I experienced very little swelling and a bit of soreness but not pain. The staff was caring enough to help my friend escort me to the car, as I was still out of it when he picked me up.

great chair-side humor, and the staff was great at explaining the procedures & easing pre-treatment anxiety. Cost will always an issue with oral surgeons unless you have excellent insurance. For the money, you can't beat Dr. Duncan

He is very friendly and outgoing. I would reccomend him to anyone willing to pay his exorbitant fees.
