Dr. Boylan did some root canals when I was pregnant with my son. It went so smooth! One thing that marvels me about Dr. Boylan is that all procedures have been painless and fast. He took out one of my wisdom tooth and I did not even need to take painkillers after the anesthesia wore down. He is my favorite dentist. Because of dental insurance I had to go to another dentist and I was able to see the difference between both dentists. The other one tried to sell me braces (I am almost 60 for god's sake), wanted to remove the crowns and put new ones. Total cost about 7,000. When you go to Dr. Boylan he does his job and does not try to sell you extra stuff. No, no Dr. Boylan is the best. It is correct he is not a salesman he is a professional.

Amazing desk staff who actually remember you! All 3 dentists are outstanding. One of those rare practices that will explain your options and allow you to decide the treatment depending upon whether you want to have a movie star mouth or functional mouth (!)--so you get to decide the cost, in effect. Outstanding at root canal prep, kindness, and in all these years my outcomes have been consistently outstanding. They will find some way to fit you in for an emergency. THE best.

Effective, efficient, pleasant, painless, and inexpensive. The office was always responsive to any needs I had, including getting me in to see Dr. Boylan at short notice.

Gentle personality. Reassuring. Does excellent work and injects novacaine painlessly. A really good guy and a really good dentist. The same goes for his partner Dr. John Martin. They put a crown on after a root canal. It is a right lower molar and feels like my original tooth. I'm on TV and the teeth are important. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Dr. Boylan is not only a great dentist, but he's honest too! He will provide his professional opinion regarding what he thinks is best for his patient...not what's best for his wallet! Such a doctor is a rare find in Washington, DC.
His office staff also get two thumbs up for treating patients like extended family. They are also very flexible

I have been a patient with Dr Boylan for many, many years. He is efficient, upbeat, extremely pleasant and caring. I live in Anne Arundel County and go out of my way to have my check-ups with Dr Boylan in Washington. My parents and brothers (in Virginia) have used his services and I will be bringing my children to him - three generations! I can give no stronger testimony to the quality of Dr Boylan than trusting my children to his care. He is the best!
