Dr. Crawford is an extremely competent general dentist who has a relaxed and friendly personality. I have seen him for regular checkups for 5 years, some fillings, and minor repairs to teeth. He communicates well about his findings and treatment. And he seems to care sincerely about his patients.

Comfortable presence, confident answering any/all questions, explains different scenarios and does not pressure patients into decisions. Convenient location for downtown DC. Spends the time necessary to make patient relaxed and at ease, which is invaluable for folks who experience dentist anxiety. Able to do basic procedures and more complicated ones equally well.

Very professional and accomplished dentist. The facilities were relaxing, the staff was very supportive and caring, and the recommendations were reasonable and complete. It would be nice if there were more advising done by the dental professionals on the scheduling of restorative work before the billing estimates were given to the patient for signature.

Dr. Crawford is very calm and easy-going. He puts you at ease, and is very attentive to any pain you may feel. He refers you to specialists as necessary, and shows an excellent concern for your overall oral health. I've been a patient of his since he opened his DC practice in 1988 or 1989. I think he's the best dentist who has ever treated me, over the last 60 years.
