I'm almost 30 and this is the best my teeth have ever looked and felt. I've lived in Washington, DC for a long time and I've had several dentists, and I think that Luz is the best. She's taken the most time to get my teeth clean (better than any other dentist ever in DC or LA), and taken the time to educate me on how to keep the that way.
If you are looking to take great care of your teeth and to work with a very nice, calm and friendly dentist, check out Luz.
A word about the price rating above - you get what you pay for. Why would anyone want to find a cheap dentist? Don't you think your teeth are something worth spending good money on to take care of? Its a lot better to pay more to prevent gum disease and cavities and all sorts of other issues. I have a friend now who is having to do $32,000 in dental surgery because he neglected them for years. You don't want a cheap dentist, you want a good dentist, and in Washington, DC that's going to be a little bit more.

She is the best! She is very professional, but also a very gentle doctor. I was always afraid of dentists, but not only she solved my severe problems, she also have treated me with a lot of kindness ant patience.

I attended Dr. Lopez' appointment many years ago before going abroad. I had a very positive DENTIST VISIT then. I tried to reach her when I returned to DC, and I could not find her on the 411 Directory; it was really disappointing.
Suddenly, I heard from Dr. Lopez's via a colleague. I jumped out of joy; I as had been at a dentist few months earlier, the Dentist was almost 7 foot tall. Although he was nice, his hands were so big and heavy; my jaws were hurting for few days...
I was looking for another dentist to do the job the big handed doctor told to me it was a must work, and I was also looking for a Dentist to recommend to my stubborn husband, who needed serious dental care. I sent my husband to Dr. Lopez, and he returned with many compliments; it was amazing... I am ready for my next DENTAL visit.

Dr. Lopez and her staff are extremely professional, caring, and skilled in what they do. Dr. Lopez has a wonderful "chair side" manner. She patiently explains what's she's doing and is great at offering preventative advice for my particular needs. The environment at her office is very inviting and personal. I always have a positive experience when I go there for my biannual check up. I recommend Dr. Lopez to anyone looking for a dentist you can rely on for quality care and attention.

Until I came to Dr. Lopez, I was struggling with the health of my teeth and the bills kept on rising. Dr. Lopez cleaned up everything, changed what needed to be changed, and put together a plan of preventive care. Since then the health of my teeth has changed remarkeably.
She is an excellent dentist. The best I know, at least.
She is also cheap.

I would recommend Dr. Lopez to anyone. She is professional, caring, and very easy to talk to. She answers all my questions with patience, and makes sure I understand what she is working on. Her staff is very personable, and I never have had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get into my appointment.

I went to Dr. Lopex for my first dental appointmnet in many years. She and her staff were extremely professional, effecient, and relaxing. Dr. Lopez was very gentle, and explained everything, including better dental care techniques in a way that was easy to understand. I would (and do!) recommend her to anyone, especially to children or those with anxiety about seeing a dentist.
