This guy is a great dentist! He knows his stuff, is non-judgmental and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to any and everybody. The first time I saw him it had been many years since my last cleaning and instead of lecturing me he helped me get my mouth back in shape.

Dr. Pukatch is a terrific dentist and I have referred several of my friends to him, and they feel the same way. Dr. Pukatch explains everything very carefully and patiently and he is very businesslike and efficient. I have called him with some dental emergencies *on his cell phone while he was on vacation*, and also at his home after hours. He stopped what he was doing so he could focus 100% on my call and concern. This man cares about his patients. My current hygienist is also very good. Dr. Pukatch's wife runs the business and she is friendly, helpful, and proficient. You cannot go wrong with Dr. Pukatch!

I think Dr. Jeffrey came from a professional teaching/ academic area. He told me everything i needed to know as if I were his student. May be he was a professor, if not, he easily could qualify. His explanation of how things around our mouth works are impecable and detailed.
He is also very careful, at least for me and very easy and fun to talk to. His office does the usual follow up including the 6mos call to your house/office or cell as needed. I highly recomend him. The only thing I notice as a negative is that his office is much smaller than i expected.

I go to him for my checkups and have never had a problem. He has a lot of experience and the hygienists are very friendly. I've never had too many problems with my teeth so I just get a cleaning every six months and get on with my day. Pretty easy to get an appointment and there hasn't been any problems with billing even though he doesn't take Care First, who cover my dental.
On a lighter note, Pukatch is known for his collection of Howdy Doody memorabilia. As a 20-something, I don't get it, but it adds some charm and flavor to the office.

Dr. Pukatch is honest and understanding to the may factors that impact decisions. He doesn't push services on his patients. He lays out the options and provides his recommendation. He gets to know his patients - if they like to think things over; if cost is a factor etc. He understands that time is valuable. He has a "bedside" manner that is not overly familiar but not ditant and uncaring either.
I can't assess his cost becuase I have good insurance.

Dr Pukatch is not affilated with many dental discount or insurance plans. I have had several different insurance companies and the office always prepares the paper work and bills my insurance. The prices are almost always under the usual and customary charge guidelines the major insurance companies use to calculate reimbursements. He is very straight forward and honest--will tell you like it is. He tries to accomodate patients same day or immediately if experiencing pain. Whole atmosphere is very low key and relaxed - not a production line to see how fast they can run you through the mill. He really does quality work and tries to do it right the first time. It is basically a family operation. Dr Pukatch has quite an assortment of "Howdy Doody" paranthalia and some feel he actually resembles the character.

Dr. Pukatch has been my regular dentist for the last two years and I would recomend him highly. He is very thorough and while I firts came to do a simple filling he gave advice on all my teeth including a recoomendation for an implant. He explained in detail how to take care of teeth and what happens if the teeth are not well cleaned. He not only treats but educates his patients about dental health. He cooperates closely with other dental specialists. His office regularly calls m to remind that my routine cleaning is due. While his office is not very is modern it is well maintained and there are a lot of entertaining decorations. I would recommend this dentist to the people who are looking for a carrying dentist with a lot of experience.

Dr. Pukatch is a very good dentist. I was so happy with him and his staff that I stayed with him after he was no longer one of the dentists covered by my insurance plan.
