Up Front: It's obvious, even to a layman, that the office and the equipment are a bit old/worn, though well-maintained and clean.
Assuming this isn't a dealbreaker for you (it's not for me), this is one of the best dentists I've ever been to. Neither Dr. Shapiro nor the dental hygienist lectured me about my teeth, even though I hadn't been to a dentist if four years.
They explained everything that was wrong and everything that was going on, as well as what they were going to do about it. They were extremely patient with various neurotic issues I had during each visit. (I sometimes can't breathe through my nose and it's difficult for me not to swallow all the time).
This is an experienced dental practice with excellent bedside manner. Can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Shapiro was very kind and patient and gentle. His hygenist did an amazing job with the cleaning, magically getting rid of spots I thought you had to bleach away or were permanent! She is a magician. Hes the kind of nice man you went to as a kid, and thought you had to fly home again to find.

Dr. Shapiro and Hygienist Erika were extremely warm, welcoming, and great in my dental care. I would strongly recommend this office and have only had great experiences since visiting them twice a year. I have also referred Dr. Shapiro to a few of my friends and they have found this same success. They are very cautious and make sure that you are completely comfortable while under their care.
