I met Dr Shub who was recommended by my business partner who had nothing but great things to say about him. I have had problems with my teeth my whole life and had lots of damage and decay.
Dr Shub was professional, accessible and pain free through very long appointments and instead of sending me out for root canals, extractions, crowns or veneers he does everything himself including general dentistry.
Because of the bad condition of my teeth I had a couple situations where certain teeth had become impacted or very painful and this incredible doctor not only called in prescriptions for pain and infection over the weekend he came in on a Saturday to address a specific issue with a tooth that was not helped with medication.
I have since raved about Dr Shub to everyone I know and have my wife and son going to him too so they never have to experience the dental problems I have had in my life.

Dr. Shub was very kind and explained everything he was doing before he did it so I always felt informed and there were no surprises. He cared very much to do the procedure correctly (I had an overlay done) and was able to see me quickly in an emergency.

Although he tends to be on the more expensive side, you get what you pay for with this dentist. He has a very friendly bedside manner and explains in detail all of the procedures before he performs them. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in the DC area! His office is located only two blocks from the Van Ness Metro station as well.

Dr. Shub is extremely gentle and explains everything you need to know. After my first x-rays, he explained which problems were most severe so I could chose which ones to treat and when. His staff is super sweet and definitely made going to the dentist very pleasent. I had to schedule a root canal on my birthday one year and honestly, it did not mess with my birthday at all. I have moved from DC and have been reluctant to find a dentist because I assume none will be as good!
