Read Reviews for Dr. Kenneth Grossman
Dr. Grossman did a root canal on a molar that had a gold crown. He said on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 10 - 10 being the most difficult because the tooth had calcified inside. It took a lot of drilling and grinding and it was not easy for him to even find where the root canals entered the pulp chamber which was completely full of calcium. He completed it in one sitting of about three hours and he worked hard. I bet his fingers got sore. There was some degree of pain from time to time probably due to hard pushing against the abscess when filing out the root canals. He found four canals in the three roots so one root had two. I wonder if a lesser-skilled dentist would have found the two in the one root?
It's been a week now and the abscess has mostly shrunk down to nothing and there in no pain whatsoever. I can chew like I used to on that side. He even saved the gold crown and got rid of some decay he found under it.
It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for.
I'd rate him a 10 on a scale of one to 10 - ten being the best.
