The dentist and hygenists/assistants talk to each other and comment on the television show while working on your teeth. Occasionally they pause to look up at the tv. This is disconcerting as a patient. I was told I needed a crown to avoid problems in the future. I was given an estimate of my portion (which was still significant) after insurance. I waited 6 months to do it because of the bill portion I would have to pay. After the work was done, I was billed the entire bill (over $1000) because insurance denied this work that Dr. Krimsky considered "necessary". Not only did I personally feel it was not necessary (thus I waited), but apparently my insurance company did not feel it was necessary either. I feel that if Dr. Krimsky gives an estimate on a service, they should have insurance approval PRIOR to doing the work, especially if it is optional work for future preventative problems. Then let the patient make a FULLY informed decision. I am very upset.

I LOVE DR. K and his staff. I had extensive restorative work and would never go elsewhere.

His staff is one of the best assets to his practice. They have been working with him for years, so there's little turn over which says alot about Dr. Krimsky. He is gentle, compasionate, funny (in a dry sense of humor way), likeable, knows his skills and always looks for the best solution for you, your pocket and the longivity of your teeth. I have referred many patients to him and not one of my friends has ever come back with a bad experience. They are up front with the costs and what the insurance will and will not cover so there's no surprises. The lobby could use more comfortable chairs. However in dental chairs the room is clean, sterile, comfortable, music in the background and last Dr. Krimsky and his off key attempt to sing with the radio. Great place to get dental work done.
