The man has hands of gold! I highly recommend Dr. Soven. He is a very caring and sincere individual who is conservative in his treatment. He looks to save your teeth and is not so quick to pull. A friend recommended Dr. Soven to me and I have been passing along my blessing to everyone I know looking for a stellar dentist. His staff is very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I tell everyone - if you are in a rush to get in and out, Dr. Soven may not be the dentist for you. He goes from room to room (I should invest in latex gloves!!) maybe after giving you Novocain he will go to another patient and then come back to you. He is a perfectionist and will redo anything he is not satisfied with. In my book, he is more than worth spending a couple of hours, if that is what it takes. Hands of gold and a heart to match!

I came in for an extraction, the tooth was severly infected. The Dr pulled the tooth but neglected to give me antibiotics to continue treating the infected area afterwards. The following day I came in to see him due to the intense pain, I wasnt able to work due to the pain. He stuffed my gum with a numbing gauze then sent me on my way. The Pain continued, the swelling and smell as well. On the 4th day I called the Dr to advise him that I needed antibiotics because the site was infected and I needed more pain killers. In turn I was treated like a pill popping addict and denied any further pain killers. I was told to take 8 motrins instead. If Motrin worked why would I have called him again?
If you want to be treated like a crack head when your in pain Dr. Richard Soven's office is the place to go!

I've raised my children with Dr. Soven. He is so gentle that one visit my then 8 year old daughter feel asleep in his chair while he was working on her.

I have had a lot of dental work done. I started going to dr. soven in 1988, only stopped going to him when i moved out of the area in 1992. I came back to South Florida in 2000. I tried other dentists because I lived approximately 25 miles from Dr. Soven, but I decided the drive was way worth it. His procedures are virtually pain free, cost very reasonable, excellent chair side manners. The front desk staff is friendly, competent. They do all the insurance filing, making it very convenient for a busy person like me. Accommodating with appointments.
About Hygienist: Judy is excellent, gentle, thorough, very pleasant personality.
