I had my teeth cleaned and an exam. The hygienist was nice and did a good job. The Dr. was right to the point, didn't explain anything.

Dr Aikens is a very well known dentist in the jacksonville area. When i was asking at the post office were i work about a good dentist his name came up serveral times. I honestly dont like going to the dentist. But from the very first visit his wit and great since of humor had me feeling completely at ease. He performed a root canal, two crowns, a complete root planning of the upper and lower teeth. as well as some cosmetic work. His staff was very professional. He is and will be my dentist for as long as i have teeth in my mouth. Which due to his excellant work is going to be alot longing than before. Overal my experience with the dentist has been a 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
About Hygienist: She is also very professional and friendly. Very thorough and well mannered.

I would and do highly recommend Dr. Aikens. Most of us cant afford high cost of dental work. Dr.Atkins did a consult with me, outlining the cosmetic and dental work required. Then worked out a payment plan that would be beneficial and affordable. It was, in my opinion a win win situation. His staff I find courteous, professional. The people that I have recommended to go to him now have the most beautiful smiles! To answer regarding my dental procedures, I have had few root canals and a crown.It required local anesthetics, so I didn't feel a thing. If I appeared to be in discomfort, he automatically addressed it. Because of him, I no longer fear Dentist. Thank you Dr.Aiken and Staff. Your Community Supports You!

Dr Aiken was recommended by my son's othodonist. We both use him for cleanings and I have had my front teeth done and some fillings.
Prices are very reasonable especially with dental insurance covering almost nothing.
About Hygienist: The hygienst is GREAT! She gets in there and gets you clean with no pain.

Dr Aikens is wonder full. He saves any and all teeth before just pulling them. No pain and fast service. Front veneers, crowns and implant. One day treatment and very low after pain. Great Dentist office staff.

Dr. Aikens runs a very friendly practice. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable. I am very pleased with the oral services his practice provides. He talked me through 2 root canals as I was very nervous since I had heard horror stories about root canals. He replaced all my old silver fillings with new ones that made my mouth look perfect and I have no problems with my crowns. I am always receivig compliments on my teeth. The hygentist explained to me the proper way to floss and brush to reduce my plaque build up...I have recommended all my friends and family to his office since I know they will be pleased!

he fusses and yells at his staff while he is treating you. he is not a very pleasant man.

He butchered my 6 year old nieces lip. He cut it with the drill and didn't said anything to her mother about. When they got to the grandmother's home she realized something was wrong and took her back. Dr Aikens didn't even take the time out to come and look at the child lip. He told his assistant to tell the mother maybe she bit her lip since she wasn't use to that feeling and to gargle with warm salt water which she did. By Wednesday the lip was so swollen she couldn't eat and was in pain. It has turn green and filled with pus. On Tusday she called Dr Aikens to see if there was anything else she could do. On Wednesday she took her back to Dr. Aikens and he was Very Rude saying she should have brought her back sooner which she did, she should have stayed on top of the matter which she has. Dr Aikens told her he couldn't see her that he had two patients and he was trying to finish up so he could good to church. I guess after you treat a child that way and talk down to the parent you have to ask for forgiveness. Her mom took her to her primary care doctor and everyone was like what dentist did that so I can make sure not to go there. She is now on antibiotics for 5 days. All this for a filling.
