Read Reviews for Dr. Brian Bard
My husband went to Dr Bard on December2013 and was told he would finish work from 2010 on two front teeth for seventeen hundred dollars. After my husband had x-rays and paid the money he was scammed into a treatment plan for seven thousand dollars. After the one crown was put in it lasted a week and fell out .Wmy husband went back his assistant recemented the tooth and it fell out a week later again. One of his staff members called Renat told us that it was only a temporary tooth and would be replaced. Well my husband went back on March 8th to be told by Dr Bard that the tooth was indeed a permanent crown and the bone is no good and therefor it will not hold the tooth. Meanwhile he has billed Delta Dental knowing he put a tooth in a bone that was not any good. He gets his staff to lie and they stay for six month at a time. Now he is referring my husband to a specialist after he has gotten all the money for a tooth that's falling out .I would highly recommend any one going here watch the billing as he makes the patients pay full and then bills the insurance for everything. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

I had a few fillings done by Dr.Bard on different occasions. The fact that they were discolored and rigid was excusable. What isn't excusable though, is the fact that all of these fillings have cost me more money now than I would have spent replacing the tooth in the first place. First, one fell off two days after being done, 2 other have completely disintegrated and now, last but certainly not least, one has chipped while flossing. I'm no dentist but I do know you should be able to do day to day things such as floss (as recommended by every dentist) without a filling coming out. His office is disgusting, his staff is often rude and will not think twice about not even so much as greeting you for 30 min, his attitude compared to ANY other dentist I have seen is one that makes you feel like he flat out does not care about anything but his wallet and his lunch he stinks up the office with while you are waiting for your scheduled appt. His procedures seem to be out of date and are very sloppy. My comparison may not be fair, as since I have only been to decent dentists but the work he has done has been frowned upon intently by both of them. Personally, I only want to see a decent dentist. If you do as well, GO ELSEWHERE!!!
About Hygienist: I only saw one hygienist at this office. She mentioned being related, although I do not remember her name. She was extremely friendly, did a good job from what I could tell and told me what she was doing while or before doing it which makes me much more comfortable. I felt my mouth was clean when I walked out and have not one bad thing to say about her!

I experienced numerous problems with my teeth and gums as I underwent chemo/radiation cancer treatment. Dr. Bard was a 35 min drive from my house, but completely worth it.
He performed necessary oral surgery, gum treatment, extraction, crowns & specialized bridge. He saw me many times on an emergency basis....even Saturdays. His knowlege and expertise are impressive. He and his staff were wonderful people to work with. Chemotherapy was really damaging to my mouth area which required numerous trips for continuing dental/gum work, maintenance and prevention. They never made me feel like I was being a pain in the neck due to my frequent visits. I had moved to Jacksonville from Tampa and found his fees to be 1/3 less than what I would have paid in Tampa.
