Dr. Deason is VERY expensive and wants payment in advance. I had insurance and still had to pay 1800.00 out of my pocket for work. The front office is VERY rude and demanding of payment and quick to put you on some special credit card payment plan. The office put charges on my card without my approval BEFORE services performed and also over charged me by almost 200 dollars which I caught and had to contact them to remove. Deason's work is not thourough as I am already having chipping problems with a crown he did 2 years ago. I have never experienced treatment so bad by the front office about payment and money. Being a college educated professional and one who always pays my bills I was VERY offended by this treatment and immediately found a much bettter, inexpensive dentist.

I wish I could find the kind of dental care here in Texas that I received from Dr. Bob Deason in the past. He and his staff couldn't be kinder and more thorough, and if he recommends extensive procedures, it's because the patient needs them. He's all about preventive dentistry to try to help his patients keep their teeth as long as possible. I've never had better dental care than what I received from Dr. Deason and his staff, and I am really considering flying back to Jacksonville next time I need to have any major dental work so he can do it.
I still have the original crowns Dr. Deason did for me back in the 1970s and 80s, and they are in perfect condition. In fact, every dentist I've seen here in Texas has complimented his work. Dr. Deason accepts most dental insurance plans, and he always advises treatments that allow the patient to keep the healthiest mouth possible. His staff is completely professional, and his beautiful office building is clean and comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Deason to anyone looking for a great dental practice, and I do every chance I get!

Dr. Deason has studied the latest techniques and it shows. I had two implants done and never even had to take any pain medication, just an advil. I can finally chew again. The staff is super friendly and knowlegable about my insurance.

Dr is a perfectionist and very good if he does the work. Dental assistants do advanced work, so you should insist on dr reviewing their work. He can sometimes be abrasive with the dental assistants. Office staff manager is difficult to work with. Costs are high, and if you question them, the office manager is not accommodating. Because of her, I am looking for another dentist.

I had a gum lift, porcelin veneers, a crown, and three white fill ins. Had mild pain. The staff has been very professional and helpful with filing insurance. Chair-side manners were great. The hygienists were great as well as the front desk. The front desk has been very patient and helpful with giving me directions several times as well as being understanding about me living about 30 minutes away and not being familiar with the area. This office has been flexable about working me in if I has to get my temporary teeth fixed or glued back. Only negative things about my experience was the high cost of the procedures and how long it took for each appointment. Also, I had to go back several times to have my temporary's fixed and having to wait over a one month and a half to have my permanent veneers put in after the order has been extremely inconvenient because I can't go back every few days to have me temps glued back on because I live too far away to drive that every couple days when they break.

Treatment seems expensive. They added things without asking withextra costs. Children that never had cavities before at a different dentist office, after transfer to this office have cavities.

The office is very clean and Dr. Deason answered all of my treatment concerns.

After examining my teeth he left me with a very young inexperienced aide to explain which teeth he thought had need of work - although she could not answer any questions she was able to print out a recommendation of needed work that totaled over $15,000. All this because I clinch my teeth!
