Merrit Halem performed a root canal and did not remove the entire nerve as per a second and third opinion. He did the bite incorrectly as well. Now I am getting the tooth retreated in a series of 5 visits as that's what it takes to correct his negligence.

I can't believe people can be that rude. The receptionist is rude, Dr. Merrit Halem even more. I am shocked the way both talk to me.
All the doctor cared about was how I was paying; I believe it's because I have the Obama insurance. He wanted to know how I found out about him and refused to see me.
About Front Desk: Receptionist is very rude. I feel pity for her, since the doctor was insulting her also.

He charged me for a root canal (didn't happen) and two crowns that are as flat as a pancake. One pops out every time I floss. Then he charge my insurance for an upper crown/bridge I had done like 18 years ago. Stay away from him!

Very much a "car salesman" with paltry skills. His paternalistic decision making belied a lack of concern for his patient's autonomy. Repeated attempts to gain satisfaction with work performed proved unsuccessful. I had to go to someone else to repair his work. His procedure rooms were unkept and staff were below average in their skills.
