Sucks worst than his outdated office and equipment imply... I was younger ... now I ask soo many questions I know I will get exactly what I want and the end results are worthy of paying !!!
Avoid this Dentist office just like you would a cosmetic surgeon working out of a Motel 6!!!!!!!!

My husband and I have gone to Dr Shenkman and his hygienist for routine dental care and cleanings for many years.
I also saw him for a crown for a broken tooth and other minor problems.
The hygienist does my semi-annual cleanings and recently a deep cleaning and scaling with medication.
I was relieved that all of the procedures were painless

Although I have been a patient for many years and he has always been a little wacko, his service was decent until recently. I needed novacaine for the replacement of a filling in a molar. He was impatient with waiting for the novacaine to take effect. I was screaming in pain. This was the first time I screamed since childhood at the dentist. When I got home, the novacaine finally took effect and my entire mouth was numb for hours. I will never go back.
