I broke a tooth, that he decided to build up rather than crown. It took a long time and cost $975. When I got back to my regular dentist, he could not believe how poor this large built up tooth was. he thought the tooth should have been crowned. I had to have the original tooth, the tooth beside and the tooth below all crowned, because of the strain caused by this built up tooth.

He seems to stutter and get confused when explaining things. He's a good salesman but a horrible clinician. The bonded "tooth colored" fillings weren't even close to my natural color. I questioned it and he said it was so he could see them. They were left rough and collected stain. I had to have one redone three times and he charged me. I finally went elsewhere. My mistake. Save your money and time.

About Front Desk: Ryan, Dr. Lovett's son, was a mess. He is unorganized, smelled of cigars, and has no clue how to communicate with people. He cannot answer any dental questions and has no knowledge of "managing" a practice. Twice I went to check out and he was playing games on the computer or looking at inappropriate photographs of women. Picture Kip from Napoleon Dynamite and you'll have Ryan.

About Hygienist: The hygienist, Dimetri, was great. Very efficient, calm, gentle, and incredibly knowledgeable about dentistry and dental procedures. He explained things much better than Dr. Lovett. He even did an oral cancer exam. No one has ever done that for me. Also showed me before and after photos and clearly answered my concerns.

He convinced me to do his "in office crowns" out of bonding. They look horrible, like bright white blocks with jagged edges between my teeth. He told me the murcury fillings were poisoning me and that he has cured people's MS, ALS, etc. with taking them out. I say BS! He uses bright with bonding regardless off your teeth color. That is not the definition of aesthetic dentistry. Oh, and the filling was over $1100 each. I spend $5000 for 4 blocks of crap in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to an enemy! He charged me for 2 teeth as all surfaces, my new doctor showed me with a photo that they really only covered 2 surfaces. I was appaled! What a mistake. Do not go here for treatment.

About Hygienist: They do have a fantastic male hygienist. He is gentle, very thorough, quick, and highly capable of answering questions. He was respectful and pleasant to speak to.
