Last Spring while on vacation my wife visited this clinic with some minor tooth pain. They told her she needed 3 root canals immediately. Regretfully, we trusted them and did the procedure. When we got back to Minneapolis and visited our normal dentist followed by an endodontist specialist because of continued pain in those teeth my wife found out 1) there was no need to do emergency root canals in her case while in FL 2) Dr.Ospina's team left left files in the root of two teeth that have now caused infection in her teeth and sinuses. Not only did Dr. Ospina's team deceive us but they did terrible work that will cost us more money and pain. I would urge you to find anyone other then Dr. Ospina to help with dental procedures.

Arrogant, lacks compassion, did not explain what he was doing beforehand, didn't even introduce himself just started poking & drilling. After 5 hours in chair finally had to give up & pull tooth. Left me bleeding and didn't give follow up appointment nor guidelines for how to care for my pulled tooth, and no receipt. He called himself a RockStar as he was pulling out my tooth saying sometimes I do things right. My mouth bled for 2 hours after I left. For a week my jaw was bruised swollen and in pain like I'd been in fist fight. Do not go to this dentist if you value your teeth, value yourself, value your money. I felt abused both physically & emotionally. Receiving his 'services' felt like a trauma.

About Hygienist: Mora was so kind and compassionate. She even called me from her cell phone the next day after hours to checkin on me. she is the saving grace of his office.

Dr Ospina and staff were very gentle and caring in his private practice. They use a CT scan machine in addition to xrays. The first few visits with the hygienist went very well. All staff in the office are Hispanic except one hygienist. I had not been to the dentist in 4 years before Dr Ospina. I was told I needed deep cleaning, braces, 2 root canals, my silver filling changed. I followed the plan for 4 visits where I only saw the hygienist for periodontal root plaining and a deep cleaning . On the most recent visit I wanted to split the visit into 2 visits because of financial reasons ( it would have been over $3000). I was to have all of my silver filling replaced and both of my crowns removed and redone because they were "leaking". I called the day before and told the receptionist who was less than helpful. I came in the day of my appointment and refused to sign consents until I spoke w Dr Ospina. I suggested replacing the silver fillings in one visit and doing the crowns on another. Dr Ospina said it was his philosophy to do all the work at one time using IV conscious sedation to make my teeth perfect and price was not his concern. He also said If I did not agree with his philosophy I should find a new dentist.

I give this office a 5star rating. The staff is pleasant and they always have a smile on their faces! Dr. Ospina is very sweet and caring. I love that he offers IV Sedation for patients like me who are Phobic and does everything in practice! Dr Ospina loves my children and treats them like their his own. Dr. Ospina pampers you and treats you like royalty when you are in surgery and I was greatful. His staff is very thorough with their treatment plans and explainations. I love Designer Smiles, PA!

Dr Diego Ospina gave me back my smile, my life and my joy. I had stopped enjoying the simple art of a smile and he restored me back to helath and gave me Beautifull Teeth. I love Dr ospina, Pam his assistant is wonderfull and gentle, Cizar was my treatment coordinator and he made every step of the process so plesant and simple.
Designer Smiles is about healthy Smiles!!
About Hygienist: The Hygenist Maria was lovely, I also had Sandy and they both made me great and taught me how to properly floss and Brush. they are very gentle.
