I was very impressed after my first visit which was a consultation. Very clean offices and very friendly and conscientious staff. Also, very prompt. I thought Dr. Markgraf was very honest in telling me what he thought should be done. My next visit was for a temporary crown and I was equally impressed as my first visit. Normally, I would be a little nervous, but I felt very comfortable for the almost hour-and-a-half appointment. I know my permanent crown will feel and look as perfect as the temporary. I will definitely recommend Dr. Markgraf and staff.

I am in Punta Gorda for 30 days and the evening that I arrived in town I had a crown come off. After reading Dr. Markgrafs web site I was sold on his practice and stopped at their office to have them put it back on. I walked into their empty office at 8:15 am and was greeted by the receptionist and told her about my delima and she said that they might be able to do it later that day but i would have to make an appointment. I said to her looking at the empty waiting room that maybe he could take a quick look ant the crown and my tooth to see if it was possible to put it back on. She took the crown back to their dental assistant and she said it was not possible as the crown was no good. I asked her to show it to the Dr Markgraf and get his opinion and she gave me a dirty look and walked in the back and came back and said it would not be useable and a new one was the only option and it would cost about $1300.00. I left and stopped at another local dentists office and they took a look at it and passed it by the dentist who was with a patient and he asked me to come back and they worked me right in, took x rays and made an evaluation and asked me to come back at 12:00 and he would put it back on for me. At 12:00 noon I went back and he cleaned up the crown to look like new and prepped the tooth and crown and cemented it on. all is good now and a very reasonable price. And gee, he made a new customer with many positive future referrals. This proves that you can't believe all you read on their web sites. I personally believe that a man with at tooth that just fell out was not treated very well by this dentist. I really didn't believe their assessment of the crown and I am very glad I got a second opinion.
