I saw Dr. Rick Munaretto (the son of Dr. Richard Munaretto) for a root canal. I thought he was not only empathetic to my pain and anxiety but thorough and thoughtful. I would recommend him and his entire team of doctors and staff to anyone. A+ experience.

This is about the older doctors Munaretto, not the son. Drs. Rich and Ray are excellent endodontists. I have visited them several times over the last few years for root canal work. They are not only extremely friendly and pleasant, they are great at what they do. They provide the patient with all the information they need to feel at ease, and then proceed to quickly and painlessly address the problem. I have never had any long lasting pain from their root canals, and they have lasted me over two years without pain at this point.
I have only had a bad experience most recently with the son, who seemed to be in a hurry, and was very condescending in dealing with me on an emergency basis. He was very anxious to get me out of the office, and into another doctor's office to have my tooth extracted altogether. To date, I am not sure that I did well listening to him, rather than waiting to see his father or uncle.
If what is most important to you is the quality of the dentistry (rather than a spa like atmosphere), and the professionalism and expertise of genuinely caring and pain conscious dentists, then the older Drs. Munaretto are the best choice by far.

I highly recommend Dr. Ray and his brother Dr. Rich. They are excellent endodontists. They are happy to take the time to share any information the patient wants to know to feel more at ease. They are very conscious of your pain level, and take as much time as is necessary to avoid sensing any pain.
I have had a couple of root canals done by them over the last few years, and have had no problems or pain since.
The only bad experience I had was with the son of one the brothers, who was condescending and in a hurry to get me out of the office on an emergency visit.
If what is important to you is experience and reliability (rather than a health spa atmosphere), definitely visit Dr. Munaretto.
