Read Reviews for Dr. Michael Reznik
Of my family's 20 or so visits to the Alpharetta facility I have met Dr. Reznik one time. I suppose the dental care is adequate but I do not feel like a patient of the office. It seems like the office takes care of you if you show up but there is no follow-up. For example, I have not called for an appointment in over two years but they have not called to follow up on why we are not returning.
It is very difficult to get appointments and when you do they try to sell you upgrades without really explaining to you the cost of what they are doing so when you leave, thinking that the cleaning will be covered by insurance, you get a large bill.
The hygienists are fine but it seems turnover is high.

The absolute worse experience I have ever had at any DR or Dentist appointment was at Dr Reznik's office. Thank goodness, my insurance did not force me to have to stay as their patient for more than 2 years, which was 2 years too long!!! Office staff and accounting folks extremely unknowledgeable and unproffessional, and as far as the dentists at the office, you never see the same one twice and they herd folks in and out of there like they are cattle. It is unbelievable how much upselling these dentists try to do while you have your mouth open and a tube stuck half way down your throat. I am guessing they are paid commisions for the services they render? Overall, my experience with this office was not less than horrifying

I wish I read all this before my appointment. I felt like a "mark" or "sucker". Not like a dental patient. See ya.

I have been a patient of Dr. Reznik's for years. He has owned several offices over the years and still does. I have been to his Vinings office and his Northpoint office. He has always been extremely helpful with my treatment. His staff has always treated me well. I've read that he is arrogant. Well, show me a doctor that is not arrogant. As far as the upgrades fees, I totally disagree. He would never have his staff sell you something that you did not need. If he has a staff member that is guilty of this, it is not becauses he endorses it. Dr. Reznik explained it best, when he said that dentistry has changed over the years. You will find that offices have become more aware of gum disease. If your office does not check for this, go somewhere else. As a matter of fact, I am now more thoroughly treated at Dr. Reznik's offices that I was in the past by he himself. He has grown with the times. Before passing judgement because you were told that you needed treatment that had never been recommended before, go online and do research on gum disease. I feel that he has always had my health in mind. If you have concerns talk to the staff.

I had the displeasure of Dealing with CHi-Chi the hygieneist self proclaimed goddess. She was more interested in how fat my wallet was instead of the actuall treametn I need. The Dr.( I think his namd was Nettles) was great. He told me I needed a couple of fillings and a crown or two. Miss thing told me if I don't spend the money on the cleaning portion of my treatment than I can not get any treatment at that facility. I had told her the Dr felt I should get the fillings and stuff done first she said I am the hygienist you listen to me or you don't get treatment here. I left and I will never go back not while she is there.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with ChiChi ( think that is how you spell her name). She obviously gets paid on commision. I have never had someone push so hard for me to spend money. She refused to do my scalings without arrestin. I have a sister that is a hygienist. She explained that arrestin is best but not mandatory. I did not have the money to do treatment. She could care less. She wanted to sell the whole treatment or none. Not to mention, I needed dental work that I could not afford if I paid her all of my money.. The doctor actually recommended that I start my crown and rct first and shel basically ignored him. She is rude and very hard to understand. She talks down to people like they are beneath her. It was my first visit to Dr. Reznik's office and I will not be back. The front desk and doctor were helpful but it was too late.

If you have the unfortunate experience to be in one of this Doctor's offices while he is there, you will understand why he has such negative reviews. He has to be the most arrogant, self-centered dentist that you will meet. He is more concerned with hearing himself talk than with anything that you might have to say. It is readily apparent that he is only concerned with whatever he can charge you for, be it "antibiotics" or "Lab charges" or even his newest scam, anesthetic. Even if he is not the dentist that you are seeing, in his offices, his policys rule, and, according to the assistant I talked to, he tells his doctors how they are to plan treatments to maximixe the cost to the patient...and fires them if they do not comply. AVOID ANY PRACTICE WITH HIS NAME ASSOCIATED!

AVOID THIS DENTIST!!!!!!! They insisted on expensive additional treatments and medicine, including Rotodent. Then, they continued to bill me for the difference between their charge and what my insurance contracted rate. They were an in-network dentist for my plan, and THIS IS ILLEGAL! My dental insurance had to contact the dentist's office 4 times to resolve the matter,

I have never been to a dentist that had time to sit and chat with the front desk staff but there is a first for everything! He came in and saw me for a total of 5 mins. and said that I could possibly have some nerve damage or it could just be gum disease. He scaled one tooth and gave me a mouthwash. ( I had lots of X-rays) He set me up to complete the scaling and rooting for my entire my mouth and if that did not work then he would send me to a specialist. (By the way I'm still in pain!!) As I left the office he asked was I ok as he was back to the front, discussing his flying lessons with the front desk staff.
The front desk staff was really good and so was his assistant. I wish the dentist was as good!!!! I felt very uncomfortable and switched dentists right away!!!
