This review comes as a result of blatant disregard for my oral health. Long story short... after spending 2 years in orthodontics Rozema told me I needed to have cosmetic correction on my four lower front teeth. He took the most aggressive approach, which I later found out by my current dentist. Rozema ground down my four lower front teeth to apply caps versus my request to just use bonding. In doing so after the new caps were in place he asked me if he could remove, very slightly, some of the tooth of the upper four teeth directly over the four new caps. I found out later that he had ground down all four of the upper teeth to the point of almost breaking through and therefore had to add bonding to stabilize the tooth from completely breaking. And subsequently resulted in all my orthodontic work being null and void as my upper and lower teeth did not fit "bite" wise any longer. Therefore, Rozema had to continue to grind away my upper teeth in order to fit the new caps he installed to the upper teeth to achieve a correct "bite", as achieved by my orthodontics. I believe that this was totally and blatantly a disregard for my oral health and I will have to suffer from his poor dentistry for the rest of my life.

What started out to be a cosmetic fix of my lower 4 front teeth turned out to be a nightmare. My 2 years of orthodontics were ruined and has caused many problems that I was not made aware of immediately. All due to what I was told was just a minor cosmetic issue. In a short summary Dr. Rozema was only interested in what the cosmetic results were and never gave consideration to the long term problems that could have been avoided and that he caused. His procedure was very aggressive, as I have been told by my current dentist. And that the cosmetic procedure Dr. Rozema used was not the best way to handle the situation. I now have to live with an on going problem due to his poor methods, which has cost me a lot of time and money, as well as mental anguish, to continually have to fix his mistakes and poor dentistry methods.

Dr. Rozema has an outstanding office, and is genuinely concerned about his patients. I had a very positive experience overall, and even received a follow-up call after my appt.
