Incompetent care that involves clinically inappropriate and even damaging care and CAUSES hundreds of dollars in unnecessary dental damage. Cost me nearly $700 in unnecessary extra dental care and prescriptions. This practice insisted I had to go to a brand new dentist and get all new x-rays and pay for brand-new first visit (examination, etc.) with another dentist to get a temporary crown put back on when Dr. Dongieux went out of town the day after putting a temporary in... they had no emergency dentist on-call for Dr. Dongieux's patients when he left town (despite his voicemail saying he does), so his receptionist directed us to go to another dentist and go through all of this just to get the temporary glued back in.
It gets worse.
Dr. Dongieux, as I was to find out after traveling 2 hours there and back to my old childhood dentist, had me on a prescription mouth rinse that I DID NOT NEED and that was CAUSING SEVERE TEETH STAINING. All my teeth were BROWN (thus, my traveling so far to my old dentist! I was freaked out!) I had to pay $239 out of pocket (in addition to what insurance paid for a cleaning) for my old dentist to use a special lightening strip (like sand paper) to scrape off the stains.
About Front Desk: Incredibly rude, likes to argue with patients, is dishonest.

I went to this dentist because a bridge came out . All I wanted him to do was put the bridge back in or if need be to replace the bridge. That's when he started telling me that i had bad gums, and instead of treating the gums, he pulled almost all of my teeth.. leaving 8 of my top teeth and 9 on bottom. His idea was to do partial plates... but after he pulled the teeth and made a top partial, he could not seem to make a bottom to fit that would allow me to close my teeth together. I have been "dentist shy" for several years now and have just now made an apointment to try to correct this horrible mistake that he has done to me.
Do not use this dentist. In my opinion, he does not know what he is doing.
My insurance company and i wasted hundreds of dollars at this dentist.
I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Dr. Dongieux has been our dentist for 10 years. He was recommended to us by a co-worker. My husband had terrible experiences with his dentist when he was a little boy. As he grew up, he had extreme anxiety about dental work and so he never went to the dentist. Dr. Dongieux understood my husband's anxiety, and has provided us with a pain-free, low stress dental environment ever since. Also, several of my past dentists wanted to pull my 2 front teeth due to short roots and a cracked tooth, but Dr. Dongieux decided to try to strengthen the roots by improoving my bite. After a year, he just replaced a cap. Now my smile is nicer than it has been in 40 years, and I still have my own teeth! In my opinion, Dr. Dongieux is not only extremely competent, but he is also sensitive, creative, and innovative.
