With so many other high quality dentists, why choose a provider like Dr. Foster that has several negative reviews? My first hand experience is Dr. Foster cares far more about his billing and reimbursement (and his corvette and gold jewelry) than anything else. His office manager is rude, insensitive and hateful. Go figure. Stay away from these people. You'll be glad you did.

Dr. Foster is a good dentist, but his billing practice is questionable. They allow you to pay off your dental bill monthly, but start charging a 10.25% interest rate and the 3rd month start charging around 20.25% per month. By law they are supposed to state somewhere on the bill the interest rate charged, but they don't. Also, the OM says they charge 18%, but to arrive at her monthly interest charge I had to calculate a 20.25% rate. I asked for an amortization schedule, but she couldn't provide one. I guess that's because an amortization schedule calculated at 18% would not have matched the monthly interest being charged unless the schedule used a 20.25% rate. Here's the kicker: Each month I sent in a monthly amount plus the monthly interest amount, and the following month my balance was HIGHER than the previous month! When I questioned the higher monthly total after making payments that actually reduced the monthly amount owed, no explanation was given but every monthly bill following my inquiry had a reduced monthly balance!!!!

Received cute magnet w/ a balloon tied to a puppy's tail on it, advertising this practice. I asked if practice was child-friendly for my 3 yr-old's first appt., they said "oh yes!" and sent stickers and super-cute note before visit. When we got there, NO child-friendliness, my son was creeped out (so was I) The dental chair had a yucky pad on it and whole thing was covered with dry-cleaner bags! The place was totally un-decorated, except for a plant and one piece bad hotel art. We left when the Dr.'s idea of a kid-friendly manner was to say "I'm going to count your teeth w/ a pointer- I'll show it to you!" My (very reasonable) son was outta there. I felt misled- what were they thinking?!

Dr. Foster is the best dentist I have been to. He actually cares about his patients and it shows!!

this is the last time i will go to this dentist because of cost and slowly declining quality. i have great insurance and my portion only of a dental only was $700 !!!! holy cow! i have to go back again because it still isn't laying right. he used to be my favorite but not any more, which is too bad because i've seen him for almost 13 years. also i didn't know i would be given the onlay using a trainee / not happy about the fact that i wasn't asked if a trainee was ok.
About Hygienist: don't care for Nadine at all, she is TOO ROUGH. barbara is great. and consistent with cleanings.

Dr. Foster is a dentist who is realy into his job. I have been going to him since I was in kindergarden, and he has kept my teeth in great shape despite me. his work with filings has been excelent as I have never had a problem with one he has put in. The sealents he recomended probably stoped half a dozen problems. he does very well with children as well.

Great Family Dentist; great with all ages and VERY knowledgable. Excellent care, treatment, service with a wonderful staff! We are very happy with them! I recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I love Dr. Foster, i went there for 5 years until my insurance changed and he wasn't covered under my plan.
Dr. Foster is smart, keeps you relaxed and isn't one of those dentists who starts poking and keeps asking does this hurt? does this hurt? I hate those type of dentists.
I enjoy his staff, they are sooooo nice.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Foster for 10 years. Dr. Foster believes in keeping a close watch on my teeth, gums, and overall health as it relates to dentistry. His office is well equiped with technology. The office is friendy. Pain medications are used at the patient's request. I have not had any problem swith the service or with the results.
