If I remember correctly I visited this dentist for my yearly cleanings when I lived in the smyrna area during high school. I knew I needed braces and would have to be referred to an Orthodontist but there was no pressure and I was further educated about early treatment and better long term effects. My insurance always covered my visits. The dentist was always gentle and I left with my teeth feeling clean and healthier. The office staff was also very helpful and I hnestly dont remember waiting long either. I have later moved but if I can find this office again I would definitely choose for regular dental heigene checkups and education. I wish I wouls have taken the advice to get braces while I was still that young.

This is all from my experince and my impression. Other patients may have had a different experience, BUT I wish I had not fallen for the facade. My actual procedure when you finally see the dentist is painless, but the administration left something to be desired. I believed that I had lucked up, getting appointments almost at any time with short notice, and return calls occur pretty quickly (except with bill concerns), but I later realized there is a reason why the doctor's schedule is so free. Billing issues occurred, fingers were pointed and even having quotes in writing did little to resolve them. In my opinion, quotes seemed to be arbitrary written without confirmation from insurance, even though i had been told that this had been done. I was discouraged from questioning of their charges. No insurance help, and while the front desk initially appeared pleasant, individual members can become disorderly, abrasive, rude and downright unprofessional. The actual dentist should desire to know more about the dealings of her practice.

You spend most of the time with the dental hygenist. The doctor herself just comes in and sees you for a minute, does not spend time with you at all asking you questions or answering any questions you may have. This was, as one can imagine frustrating. None of my teeth have cavities, but she still suggested filling teeth with composite since they had some wear. This after just a cursory look at my teeth was disappointing. I would have liked her to explain the situation a bit, and how urgent or bad it was and answer any questions I have.
There was a fair bit of waiting (1 hour) time even before the dental hygenist saw you, but I think this is normal for most facilities and was not overly stressed.
The facilities are good, and look and feel professional.

Excellent Dentist. She knows what she's doing. She is wonderful. She is also funny :)
