Excellent Dentist, does not charge for missed appointments. Came in extra early to help my daughter who cracked a tooth. Does not do extra stuff you dont need unlike other dentists I have been to. I trust Dr Hatanaka and am very happy with the job that he has done for me and my family.

I started to go to Dr. Hatanaka in June of 2000, I am very happy with his treatments. I live in Hawaii Kai, so it's very convenience for me to go to him, I don't have to fight traffic to get into town. I had recement done on my crown this past June and filling done in September and another filling done on December 2, 2011. He is very gentle and very easy to talk to.

Going to visit the denist is not one of my favorite things to do...probably because of a bad experience with a dentist who lectured me and made me feel guilty many years ago. Thankfully, Dr. Hatanaka has changed my feelings about visiting the dentist. No more stress and anxiety! Dr. Hatanaka has a calm and quiet manner. He is very professional and always gentle while always being very thorough. The service in his office is top notch. I would recommend him to all of my friends and family (and have for many years)!

The office is very welcoming and the front desk receptionist is very nice. I've been going to him for 20 years now and I have not had problems. He is very sensitive to make sure you are comfortable. I would recommend.

It was an okay experience. He is very quick with his work. However, I was left with decay in my tooth.
