I went to Dr. Levine based on a recommendation from my oral surgeon and my mother's prosthodontist. I needed a root canal and had let it go until it became infected and very painful. Dr. Levine's office made time to see me for an emergency appointment within 24 hrs, and did the root canal 2 days later.
Based on a previous experience with another doctor I was feeling very anxious when I went in for the procedure. Each person in his office used a tone of real concern and caring, which I found comforting. Dr. Levine and his assistant made the entire experience very comfortable and did not dismiss any discomfort I was feeling, as has happened with previous doctors. At the end of the procedure Dr. Levine carefully detailed my next steps, explaining the what and why, and answered all my questions. When asked for a referral Dr. Levine was very straightforward about his relationship with the doctors he was recommending and their qualifications.
I also feel, based on how easily and quickly he performed my procedure, that Dr. Levine is very skilled at doing root canals. I highly recommend Dr. Levine for his great skill, his genuine concern, and his great chair-side manner.

I had worst experience here for my root canal treatment. I didn't have a good sleep during the night because of pain. I thought it would get better but the next day the pain getting worse and the face swallen started in the afternoon. The situation getting worse during night, my face looked terribly twisted due to the infectious swallen! I called for the emergency answering service and he returned my call almost threee hours later. The antibiotics and pain reliever doesnt help at all at the first night.
I would not recommended you go for him for root canal! It is a nightmare for me after receiving his treatment! -- Suddenly I am suffering in the situation of extremely pain, terrible swallen face and sleepless... I don't know what to do with this situation.

I had had two rootcanals prior to seeing Dr. Levine. I expected the process to be uncomfortable. I was really surprised how he operated so efficiently. There was no small talk; there was just Dr. Levine and an assistant working on my tooth. When it was finished I was so relieved because I kept expecting to be uncomfortable but it never really happened. I want to go to him again to redo a rootcanal that failed. The only hesitation is cost, but I don't know who charges less these days.
