BEWARE this dentist and practice...unless you are willing to do a lot of unnecessary, expensive dental work. My dentist of 25+ years did not take my new dental insurance, and this practice was close to my house and took my new insurance. I knew I was in trouble when after my initial appointment, the insurance person sat me down to give me the news that I needed more than $13,000 worth of work. The cost was AFTER my insurance coverage. She proceeded to lay out a financial schedule that included $875 a month payments. I looked at her in disbelief, and said that I couldn't afford this. She then told me I could finance it and gave me the brochure of the company they worked with. If I paid it off in 12 months, there would be no interest. I told her that I would think about it, knowing that I had no intention of doing this work. About 6 months later, Dr. Uhler did a crown on 1 tooth, and made an appliance. Both were fine. But, every time I went back for my 6 month cleaning, he brought up the other work and wanted me to get started. At the last visit, while I saw him in the office, he sent the female dentist in to 'encourage' me to get started on the work. I went back to my old dentst who confirmed that NONE of the work needed 2 be done

Was referred to this dentist by another doctor, but I don't think they were interested in taking on new patients. They forgot to order dental appliances so appointments needed to be rescheduled; never provided treatment plan as promised, even after I called with reminders... eventually gave-up & started over with a different dentist.

Beware of Dr. Uhler! He consistently filled tiny little pits in my teeth that didn't need treatment. Even worse, no matter how small the cavity, he drilled out the entire surface of the tooth and put in a giant filling knowing that in a few years, the little remaining tooth structure would crack causing me to need a crown which is where he makes his real money.

Dr. Uhler is a wonderful denist. My family has been seeing him for close to twenty years. We have been through braces, tooth extractions, gum issues as well as regular checkups. His equipment is top notch and he stays on top of his field.
