I had a root canal that went bad after 30 years. I was in an extreme amount of pain. Dr. Bortnick did a quick, professional, successful job!! I am Very thankful to her. I was a little sore after treatment but motrin took care of this. After one dose of motrin I felt like a new person! I highly recommend Dr. Bortnick. If I ever need treatment again, she is the only one I will use...and I am extremely picky!! Overall, I was Very happy with both Dr. Bortnick and her office!!!

I have never been to a worse endodontist. She seemed so
pre-occupied while on the job and did an atrocious job on my teeth. I have been in pain for weeks and her lack of compassion for her patients is disgraceful.

I needed a second root canal job to fix a root canal done 30 years earlier by another dentist. Turned out fine this time. (Thanks, Dr. Bortnick)
Dr. Bortnick's hands seem "small as a doll's hands" -- perfect for working in the mouth. She always treats her staff with great respect. I was very impressed with her personality and demeanor.
She described every detail of my procedure (and what I could expect) as she progressed to relax and inform me.
All in all, she's a terrific professional. She comes highly recommended by dentists in the Southfield, MI area.
Works Saturdays, too. Stable, long-term practice and location on Telegraph and 13 Mile Road. She's a veteran.

I had a root cut off. Great job!! great care. Would go back for these types of needs again. Not cheep but I think one of the best. Facilities great. Have gone to this office for years my other Dr. retired. He was the best in the area also.

Dr. Bortnick made me feel very comfortable and anxiety-free. My root canal was painless and my tooth was able to be saved and has been feeling great ever since.

Dr. Bortnick has an excellent chair-side manner. Her demeanor and explanation of the procedure put me completely at ease. Her is very kind and professional. This was the best dental experience I have ever had.

Dr. Bortnick is very nice. But based on my own experience, I would not go to her again if I ever needed endodontic surgery in the future. The surgery cost a lot of money and it did not improve my condition. In fact, I think it made it worse - the infection, that is. She did not prescribe antibiotics immediately after my surgery at my request. I think everything went wrong from there. After all the pain and hundreds of dollars out of pocket expense, I'm going to have to pull the tooth out.
