Read Reviews for Dr. Karen Opferman
Terrible experience. Get's too involved with personal matters. Needs to concentrate on dental work period. Too much soap opera, even in procedure room on tv. Watched tv while working on you and too much gossip.

State of the art office. Super clean. Appointments are on time. They do go out of their way to make you comfortable and accomadate you. I do feel that the cost is high. The very bothersome point, was that my insurance was billed and a check from them was sent to the Dr. BEFORE my procedure was done. I think that is totally unethical, and probably illegal. The dentist's address is also incorrect on this site.
I know this doctor: 2 years

My wife has been going to Dr. Karen Opferman for several years even after moving to St. Louis, MO which indicates how fondly we think of her. She has a brand new, state of the art facility in Palos Heights which offers refreshments as you wait along with a wide selection of reading mat'l for everyone. The real treat is being able to lay down in a vibrating chair and watch TV as she painlessly do her work. I was apprehensive about driving 5 hours to see a dentist but after my last crown procedure, I can say it was worth it. Karen is very friendly and uses the lastest technology with a deft touch.

Dr. Opferman is the best dentist I have had in my life, and I have had a few dentists as well as an orthodontist. She is kind, gentle and most importantly completely up to date with the most advanced procedures and equipment. She is great with adults, even more phenomenal with children. No need to go to separate dentists for your family. My daughter is not big on doctors at all, however she feels completely comfortable with the doctor. Dr. Opferman's assistants and hygienists are a reflection of her; they possess great chair-side manner as well as effective with the results of any procedure. She has a pager number on her office answering machine (when the office is closed) for emergencies. My daughter broke her tooth on a Saturday night; she was in Dr. Opferman's office the next morning (on a Sunday ! ) at 8:30am, came out 45 minutes later as good as new. The costs seem to be average, definitely not on the high side. The office works with your insurance company so you do not have to be stuck on the phone with them, they will take care of everything. Everyone in the office is kind, considerate and professional, with a touch of making you feel like you are at home.
