Great experience working with Dr Sands. The procedure went well, very short wait time and thorough discussion around my dental history. Dr Sands even called to check on my condition himself on a Saturday--just to make sure everything was OK!!!

I just had a root canal re-done by another endodontist that has been performed by Dr Sands 3 times in the last 6 months. And after this experience, I'm going to just come right out and say that this guy needs to retire -he's clearly not up to speed with the current standards and practices. First off, he does not use either a microscope to look in the canal (to see what he's doing), nor does he utilize a latex barrier to isolate the tooth while drilling into it (this prevents your bacteria-laden saliva from dripping down into the hole). Each time I see him, he seems more concerned with making small-talk than actually performing this very delicate medical procedure. And when I kept coming back telling him it wasn't better, all I'd ever get is "just give it 3 months to heal." I've been down this road before with another crappy dentist (I ended up losing not only the tooth with that botched root canal, but part of my jaw bone as well, so forgive me if I find this level of inquiry woefully inadequate. Seriously Dr Sands, give it up and go play golf now. And I'd like my $$$ back too....

went in for a root canal, was highly recommended to my by a friend, and for good reason. He was very accommodating and professional, and the procedure was completely painless and without complications. I was uninsured and had to pay out of pocket. The receptionist offered me a cash discount -- still expensive, but you could get a lot worse for the price, so it was well worth it. All followup appointments, anesthetics, gas, etc... included in the up-front cost.

Dr. Sands is the best . . . heroic even! He has tackled some very difficult issues with my teeth and has been very successful. He's practical, direct and willing to go the extra mile. His manner is easy and his technique is effortless. He has a good sense of humor too. Always a pleasant experience even when it shouldn't be. My highest praise for a medical professional.

Everything about the care Dr. Sands provides is great. The staff is professional and pleasent and Dr. Sands himself is easy to talk to, listens carefully and most importantly provided me with a very comfortable treatment experience.
