Read Reviews for Dr. Scott Dickson
I was sent to Dr. Dickson for him to check for fractures in a tooth before doing a root canal. My doctor said he would have specialized equipment to check for fissures.
He tapped on the tooth and checked for sensitivity only--- which my regular dentist already did. I advised him of my fear of needles. When the swab was applied to numb the area, it was only there for 30 seconds before getting a painful injection. Later, I asked my regular dentist how long the was to be applied, I was told 2 min. He did not want to give me gas as I had requested beforehand as he was in a hurry! Also, he is not a BCBS of Montana provider! You will owe him 100 percent of the bill! No contractual adjustments at all!
My dentist did me a great ($566.00) disservice by sending me to him!
About Front Desk: The staff was okay, but I was required to watch a root canal video which talked about the possibility of instruments breaking off inside and causing an infection. Great! I was nervous before the procedure and really scared by the time they took me in!
