In late 2005 Dr. Costello began fitting me for a 3 tooth fixed bridge. When the bridge arrived, I told him it didn't fit right,
feel right or look right. He sent it back to the lab, but the replacment was just a bad. I complained again, but he ignored me and permanently cemented the bridge in place.
Almost immediately, I began having headaches 24/7. People were asking me if I had food stuck in my teeth , due an unsightly 'black' line along the edge of the teeth at the gum line. And my gums bled when I flossed under the bridge.
When I met with the Doctor a few weeks later to advise him of these problems, he told me he was TERMINATING me as a patient and walked out of the room. He didn't even examine the bridge.
I sent him a letter asking him to replace the bridge and release my records. He has not responded. At $2,800 I want this bridge to look good and fit properly.
Even worse, last night a piece of porcelain broke off the front of the bridge and metal substructure is now exposed.
This bridge was made poorly and is defective, but the Doctor refuses to repair or replace it. You be the judge.
