Read Reviews for Dr. Michael Lakota
I've been seeing Dr. Lakota for years..left his office because my Insurance changed. Was the worst mistake. Went back to Dr. Lakota and he welcomed us back and didn't make me feel guilty at all. Took care of me and my family and won't leave again. Didn't realize how knowledgeable he was until I left and experienced another dentist. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Lakota after seeing multiple other dentists in the area. The office was very clean and the staff was extremely attentive to me the minute I walked in. Dr. Lakota is very up to date with his technology with digital x-rays and providing porcelain crowns in one visit (WOW!!). While the other dentists spent no more than 5 minutes with me telling me what I need, Dr.Lakota showed me everything ( with a real cool small camera he placed in my mouth) and explained to me what dental problems I had without rushing me. The best part was I didn't feel pressured by him. He definitely is well trained and knowledgeable. I'm glad I found him before I made the wrong decision.
I don't often use forums like this, especially just to "bash" dentists and doctors, but after months of frustration and not getting answers, I'm VERY happy to find Dr. Lakota. He will be my dentist for life!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Mike for quite some time now. We are treated like family. I've never had problems with any of the work he has done. It is a small office and I always see the same faces when I come in. The staff is friendly, my kids actually don't mind coming to the dentist!

Seems unorganized. Says will take payments but then asks for more money.

Dr. Lakota lacks the technical knowledge to be trusted with your teeth. He put a filling in for a very deep cavity. After coming back repeatedly and being told,"I dont know why you are in pain." Another dentist said that i shouldve been offered a root canal for a cavity that near the root. I ended up with nearly a year of pain and after confronting Dr. Lakota (So he could better help his future patients) He accused me of all kinds of horrible things and added 175.00 in fees. He sent me a threatening letter in response and then upped my bill after saying nasty things about me, and I'm a PRACTICING Christian mother of 3.
