I had him for my dentist for several years. He did the usual - cleaning, fillings (white), and an onlay. Perfect - I didn't experience any problems. He was willing to discuss the best treatment with me, the quality of the materials used etc. He made sure I got the most out of my insurance by resubmitting claims that were denied. He loves the work he does, and it shows (unlike with many dentists, you get the feeling like he considers his job an art, rather than a money making machine!). He also did only the work necessary - I could really trust him. I really liked going to see them, even though I have a great fear of dentists. I actually traveled to see him from downtown Chicago. Unfortunately, I've moved to another part of the country since.
About Front Desk: The front desk was always pleasant, as was the dental assistant. The wait was never long (who likes to wait in a dentist's office??).

Dr Barrett is very personable, knowledgeable and very accommodating to work with the patient in regards to financial situations. His staff is very pleasant and easy to get along with and I would recommend them to anyone I know. You might not get the flash (expensive building, top of the line furniture etc) but what you get is quality service at a reasonable price with some intelligent conversation. Additionally, when considering the negative comments (if any) just remember this town is full of holier than now attitudes with absolutely no manners.
About Front Desk: Jenna is a doll. Very sweet young lady who is very personable and very accommodating.
About Hygienist: Very nice young lady who does a wonderful job

Dr. Barrett is basically pleasant and competent. however, when it comes to financial dealing, he and his office are highly unprofessional and overly aggressive with billing and payments. The office manager, jen is beyond rude and delays apts and increases wait times if one does not prove payment worthy. My experience was stressful and humiliating and i will never return. i had a temp crown placed and was so uncomfortable that i could not return to have the perm placed. i observed other patients being treated rudely when trying to schedule or pay a bill.

The facilities are professional, and state-of-the-art. Dr. Barrett is a leader in his field, and the service he provides is stellar! He is pleasant, calm, and good natured. He is honest and helpful, and I would recommend him and his office to anyone interested in maintaining their teeth.
I am grateful for the years of excellent service he has provided for me and my family.
