Found this dr through delta website and needed a root canal. I have high anxiety and they do nothing to help calm you. Basically the dr calls you a pussy and a fucking asshole and other derogatory remarks. Was unbelievable! True words from his mouth. Asked if I was done complaining so that he can work. Definately don't go to this dr.

I dropped my wife at Behrend’s office (5710 Six Forks Rd #101, Raleigh, NC 27609) for a root canal. I went to pick up my wife from Gary Behrend’s office and I found her standing outside extremely upset and shaken. After she got in the car, she told me how Mr. Behrend had completely lost his temper during her root canal procedure, yelling at her, storming in and out of the room, threatening, and using excessive
force. I immediately went into the office, located Mr. Behrend, and asked him to explain his unprofessional behavior towards my wife. He immediately, without provocation, grabbed me by the shirt, threw me against the wall, and
threatened to break my neck. He then proceeded to push and shove me out of his office. I went home and called the police who came to my house and took my statement along with my wife’s. The same officer then went to Mr. Behrend’s office where he admitted to attacking me. At that point, the officer formally charged Mr. Behrend with assault.
Behrend later wrote a letter to my wife admitting his
unprofessionalism. Mr. Behrend has a violent
disposition and poses a threat to the health and safety of his
patients and their families.

Had exam and root canal. Office helpful and friendly and efficient. The whole procedure was exceptional. Dr has latest equipment and very professional. The treatment was painless and efficient as was the bill. Very good relationship with assistant and with patient. Very thorough. I would recommend Dr Behren to anyone needing root canal.
