Dr. Kim is a wonderful dentist. He quickly puts patients at ease with his goofy sense of humor and he has great rapport with his assistants (they are constantly joking back and forth with each other). I had a root canal, some crowns, and multiple fillings done, and Dr. Kim took care of them quickly and thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable during the procedures. He replaced my ugly old metal fillings with white ceramic(?) ones -- now when I open my mouth you can't even tell I have a ton of fillings. The assistants are caring and personal, and the front desk people are very pleasant and helpful. They have an awesome payment plan, too, which helps when you're having costly stuff done like I did. Something else I like about this office is how international it is -- it's a melting pot (the staff and the patients alike). This is a great dentist office, and I gladly go all the way to Skokie to have my teeth worked on by Dr. Kim.

Going to Dr Kim is an extremely pleasant experience, and this is something coming from somebody who just had a root canal!
The root canal wasn't even painful, and the staff was extremely caring and gentle. When I started feeling even the slightest bit of pain, they gave me some more novocaine, and the procedure was finished in a matter of moments. The facility has such modern equipment that one can rest assured that he or she is getting the best care possible. I liked the way he talks you through the procedure, even going so far as to explain what the procedure entails beforehand. His assistant was also very pleasant and gentle and I liked their sense of humor. They were both very very nice, which made my root canal a pleasant experience. I would go back for another one, god forbid that I have to.
