Dr. Lau has been my dentist for about 4 years now. I met him when our sons attended the same private school and had playdates together. I have the highest regard for Dr. Lau and his practice. His billing his fair, he communicates options well, he and his staff have a gentle touch (they really do care about inflicting as little pain as possible) and I always have the feeling like I am dealing with a person of absolute integrity. In an age where the medical and dental professions are filled with people who don't care, Dr. Lau is a refreshing exception.

Dr. Lau performed the first cleaning himself. I found him to be very professional and very clean facilities.
He used modern equipment. When I recently was examined for a growth on the gums, he recognized it as a fistula and said I needed a root canal which was performed successfully by an endodontist.

About Hygienist: His new hygienist Jiscella is very professional and did a great job cleaning my teeth.

Terrible management. They are constantly overbooked and have rude employees. The dentists don't seem to care as long as there are customers waiting. Very unprofessional, avoid at all costs!!!

It would be nice if the office would answer call more frequently than letting it bounce to voicemail.

Doctor was OK, but the hygienist named Kim work for him are horrible. Her attitude was terrible. I have complained to Doctor, but the issue never addressed.

We have tried a few dentists in the area and no one beats Dr. Lau!

I really liked Dr. Lau. I agree with the other reviewer that he is gentle. I especially liked how he explained everything that he was during as it occurred and made sure I didn't have any questions before/afterwards. The office is clean and the hours are great. I really recommend him (and I am very picky!).
About Hygienist: Haven't needed them (Dr. Lau put in an emergency crown) but will go back for my 6 month cleaning
