Dr. Sims was a great dentist to have in Anderson and is highly recommended. I was always afraid of going to a dentist, and spoke with a fellow co-worker who felt similarly. She recommended Dr. Sims office and said that he had erased her fear of dentists. I felt that was a good sign, and made an appointment. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning procedures were fairly quick and were painless. Dr. Sims worked on cavities for me twice. He tried to make sure I was as comfortable as possible, and numbed me to my liking. While I still hate getting cavities filled, this was definitely the best it has been for me since I have been going to dentists.
Dr. Sims recommended that I get my wisdom teeth removed (they were already in rather than under the gums). He explained why this was best and a little about the procedure. He also recommended a doctor to take care of it, and that worked out very well.
Payment is required as soon as the work has been completed. I think that is how most offices are now. They accept credit cards. I am not sure about debit cards. They worked with my insurance company pretty quickly. A few times I was over charged and they provided a refund or credit, which I did not think was a big deal
