AMAZING Endodontist!! My first root canal, and I was completely terrified! He and his staff made it comfortable and totally pain free, and they were all genuinely nice! Would definitely recommend!!

I was in town for a convention and that cracked tooth that could not be located started to hurt again. This has been looked at by 3 different endodontists and my own dentist in Phoenix.
I found Dr. Cox was really close to where I was staying at the time and got me right in. The staff was great, I felt right at home, but still couldn't locate which tooth had the problem. Dr. Cox was ready right then to do the root canal, but not knowing which tooth kept me from relief. He gave me some pain med's and instruction on how to figure out which tooth.
By the next morning at breakfast, I bit into that ham and Wow did I know which tooth it was now. Called Dr. Cox office and once again they got me right in. Took the Xray and yep we found the culprit. I got my root canal after a year and and a half of on and off pain. I couldn't be happier with the treatment I received at Dr. Mat Cox office. Thank you so much.

Had 1 appointment. Root canal. Really nervous the day before. Kept Googling "Root canal pain" and coming back with horror stories. Dr. Cox was fantastic. I felt nothing. Nothing. I think I was in the chair for an hour or so. Was made comfortable and wasn't left alone. If you're having a root canal and you're nervous about how it will feel - visit Dr. Cox.

dr. cox was absolutely fantastic. i came to him needing retreatment for an old root canal, and even from my intial evaluation i knew that i would be taken care of and there would be no problems. his office staff is very professional, on top of everything absolutely no issues not even with insurance. dr. cox is very friendly and makes sure his patients are taken care of. i had no pain during the procedure and actually was relaxed which is saying alot for a root canal! if i ever need endodontic treatment again i will not go to anybody but dr. cox. I would highly reccommend him to anyone.

Dr. Cox is wonderful! I was so nervous about getting a root canal but Dr. Cox was pleasant and pain-free. I can't say enough good things about him.

These were the first words my mother and I heard from a patient leaving Dr. Cox's office. In the waiting room, another man commented, "Now, that's a great dentist."
My mother and I had never met Dr. Cox, yet we were quite impressed to hear his patients candid comments. (Actually, we became more eager to meet him.)
If you need an endodontist, I highly recommend DR. MATTHEW COX, for the following reasons: Expertise in probing your current medical history, and medications, beyond the obligatory forms one must complete as a new patient. He explains all dental options available to your specific situation. Including the important fact that he has a very comfortable manner of empowering patients to give time for thought. This allowed my mother to decide what her next steps would be, with a TRUE understanding of the pros and cons of every option.
Even thought my mother has opted not to have her root canal correct, and, we will not return to Dr. Cox's office for further work. My Mother certainly knows without a doubt who she'd see if the need for and Endodontist arose.
What a COMPLETE surprise, to feel so good about going to a dentist.

All new low dose xray machines. Great care and follow up. Dont like going to the dentist but if you must this is the place.
